Custom Product Development
From concept to commercialisation, we work with you through every stage of product development. We can help transform your idea into a unique, high-quality formulation that is innovative, scalable and ready for market.

Our Product Development Process:
1. Technical Evaluation & Theoretical Formulations
We assess your product concept, ingredients, nutritional targets and intended market. Based on this evaluation, we develop theoretical formulation options considering ingredient compatibility, functionality, taste, texture, processing requirements and commercial feasibility.
2. Ingredient Sourcing & Procurement
We identify suitable suppliers and coordinate the sourcing of required raw materials. Ingredient procurement is quoted separately and begins once the ingredient specifications, quotation and required advance payment have been approved and received.
3. Practical Trials & Formulation Refinement
We coordinate practical trials to evaluate product performance, taste, texture and other agreed specifications. The development fee includes the revisions outlined in your quotation. Additional trials or revisions outside the agreed scope are quoted separately for approval.
4. Final Formulation Approval
Once the agreed product specifications have been achieved, the final formulation is submitted for approval before progressing to the factory pilot run. Laboratory testing, nutritional analysis and shelf-life studies are arranged and charged separately where applicable.
Pricing
USD 3,500–4,000 per SKU

-
Additional tests such as laboratory testing, nutritional analysis, shelf-life studies and other applicable third-party or regulatory costs
What Happens After Development?
Pilot Production
Once the formulation has been approved, we coordinate a factory pilot run to assess its performance using industrial equipment. Pilot runs and associated manufacturing costs are quoted separately.
Manufacturing
Wellness Lab Group works with a network of specialist manufacturing partners, allowing us to select a suitable production facility based on the product category, formulation, ingredients, equipment requirements and production volume.
Rather than limiting clients to a single factory, we coordinate with the most appropriate manufacturing partner for each project.
Our role is to manage the process between the client, R&D team, suppliers and selected factory. Depending on the project scope, this includes raw material and packaging procurement, approved formulations, production documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), pilot-run coordination and commercial production planning.
The manufacturing facility provides the required equipment, production environment and factory team, while Wellness Lab Group coordinates the project and helps ensure that the approved specifications and production requirements are communicated clearly.
This approach gives clients a central point of contact throughout development and manufacturing, with clear scopes, costs and approval milestones at each stage.
